Liebherr, Leica Geosystems kind excavator management partnership

Rear-mounted GNSS antennas decide the machine’s place.

Liebherr’s crawler and wheeled excavators can now be manufacturing unit outfitted with 2D and 3D machine management methods as the results of a partnership with Leica Geosystems.

The optionally available system might be added to Liebherr’s Era 6 and Era eight excavators that includes each mono and two-piece booms and consists of the flexibility to combine a tiltrotator or hydraulic tilt bucket. Prospects may select to pre-wire a machine to offer them the flexibility to retrofit a machine management system in a while.

The cut up show view on the Leica 3D system permits operators a prime view in 2D or 3D (left show), a transverse view for the specified inclination (higher proper) and a longitudinal view for planning work (decrease proper).

The Lieca iCON iXE2 2D machine management system shows the bucket’s precise place relative to design elevation and slope, permitting customers to achieve the design grade quicker. Leica’s iCON iXE3 3D system exhibits real-time challenge information and related work duties on the machine show.
